Colin Bennett: 17 weeks!

Our little Beebs is 17 weeks old. My how handsome he is!

Weight:  We shall see in just a few days! At least 14 pounds for sure. His little legs are so chunky monkey :)

Health:C had another stuffy nose this week. I think it's just his little body getting used to the germs at daycare. I hate seeing him uncomfortable.
Social: This week was another uneventful week in the social department. We have a busy October so we wanted to take the week to organize, do our fall cleaning etc. We did go for several nice walks and enjoyed the outdoors in our neighborhood. C also got to Skype with his Gram and GrandDad twice!

Sleep: Sleep was rough this week- C woke up several times a night all weekend. He did sleep through on Monday and Tuesday, which was nice. On his 17 week birthday (yesterday) I found him on his side in his sleep and play. Therefore, the sleep and play days are over- we can't take any chances. On a side note, the kid is a pro at making it to his side but not all the way over. He's just about there with rolling all the way over more frequently.

Diet: All Mommy's milk! So proud of where our breastfeeding journey has led us.
Clothes: We have packed away all the three month onesies. I think we could have gotten another week out of them if we tried but they are all summery anyway.  He's in size 2 diapers and six month jammies and pants.

Baby Gear Love: He LOVES the monkey toy hanging off of his car seat and he loves his play mat as well. We also love his Whale tub.

Crying: He olnly cries with a purpose :)
Likes: Snuggling and being held, baths, talking to Mommy and Daddy, "bouncing" with Daddy

Dislikes: Getting his jammies on at night- he would much rather stay naked.

Postpartum: Getting frustrated with these last few pounds of baby weight. I'm feeling a little desperate to get them off but I know it will happen if I make the right moves.

Milestones:  Lots and lots of talking to Mommy and Daddy! It's the most adorable thing.
C also is lifting his head way up while doing tummy time and getting his shoulders off the ground when he's laying on his back (9/24)
Mr. Funny man also started to play games! On 9/21 he realized its funny to make Mommy say "ouch" by ripping away while brestfeeding. He thinks he's a comedian. His amused smile does make me laugh.
