Colin Bennett: 3 weeks old!

Sweet baby Colin Bennett is 3 weeks old today. It's so hard to believe that it was already three weeks ago that we brought our little bundle of joy into this world.

Weight:  Colin was back up to his birth weight at last week's appointment- based on his great nursing schedule I would assume his weight is still on the up and up! 

Health: Aside from the milk sensitivity, our sweet boy is happy and healthy. 

Social: We have had a break in the visitors this past week which has been nice. Hubs has been home on paternity leave and we've been enjoying the bonding time. This weekend we are having some more visitors and are looking forward to some friends meeting Colin for the first time.  We are also going to take a peak at Colin's daycare tomorrow- hopefully seeing some of the other kiddos who will be in the same "class" as Colin.

Sleep: We have a good little sleeper! All my fellow Mommies out there have been telling me how lucky I am that he only wakes up 2 times per night- and I have to agree! He usually goes down at about 8pm and sleeps until 1 or 2 then wakes up again for a feeding between 4 and 5. 

Diet: All Mommy's milk! He's such a good little eater!

Clothes: newborn sizes only- our tiny little guy. 

Baby Gear Love:  Soothie pacifier, the bassinet from the pack and play, his my little lamb swing and Aden and Anis swaddle wraps have all been huge helps this week. He also seems to like his Dr. Brown's bottles. We've been giving him one every few days and he seems to take them well. :)

Crying:  when he's hungry, gassy or has to take a poop. 

Likes: Our sweet boy loves to be held and is starting to like "tummy time" as well! He loves when we dance and sing with him in our arms as well. 

Dislikes: pooping and gas! Poor guy. Gas drops seem to work when he's really gassy. 

Postpartum: Doing well! Breastfeeding is going well and I'm slowly starting to feel like a normal person again. I have been trying to eat as well as possible and am looking forward to working out again in a few weeks. I want to start taking walks on the nice days with the little squeak.

Milestones: Pushed himself up on his hands during tummy time and "looked all around"- June 16th
Celebrated Daddy's first father's day- June 16th

Celebrated Mommy's birthday- June 18th

Colin Bennett- Mommy and Daddy have had such a wonderful time getting to know your little personality this past week. You are so much fun to be around and we love when you smile at us and make eye contact. We can't wait to see how you grow and learn new things each day. We love you to the moon and back.
