Colin Bennett: 4 weeks old

Our little squeak is four weeks old today. He is growing by the day and we love watching it happen!

4 Weeks old- 6/26/13

Weight:  Baby Colin is certainly getting bigger. We won't have another official weight check until his 2 month appointment the end of July. We will have to see if we can get a weight on our personal scale sometime soon.

Health: Our little guy has a sensitive tummy. He tends to get gassy and fussy in the evenings. I am going to eat VERY blandly the next few days to see if that helps at all. Otherwise, our sweet beebs (another nick name) is a happy and healthy little boy!

Social: This week baby Colin met his Aunt Ariel (one of my closest friends) who flew in from Oregon. He also spent time with Aunt Gina, Aunt Brob, his Grandmom Robinson, Aunt Barbara and Uncle Ralph, Uncle Mike and Aunt Taadie and his granddad Robinson met him for the first time.

Sleep: Still sleeping pretty well! He wakes up once in the middle of the night and once early morning for feedings. Two nights this week he was VERY fussy in the evening which led to longer sleep sessions during the night but that was not ideal for feedings and threw him off the next day.
You taking pictures of me again ma?

Diet: All Mommy's milk! He's such a good little eater!

Clothes: Mostly newborn. Today we tried a 3 month polo suit for the first time- it was definitely big, but still so cute!

Baby Gear Love:  Still the same goodies...soothie pacifier, the bassinet from the pack and play, his my little lamb swing and Aden and Anis swaddle wraps have all been huge helps this week. He also seems to like his Dr. Brown's bottles. We've been giving him one every few days and he seems to take them well.
Crying: When he's hungry, overly tired, needs to be changed or wants to be held.

Likes: Our sweet boy loves to be held and is starting to like "tummy time" as well! He loves when we dance and sing with him in our arms as well.
Dislikes: pooping and gas! Poor guy. Gas drops seem to work when he's really gassy.

Postpartum: Things are going great. I'm feeling pretty well and looking forward to getting back on the running game. :) Hubs gave me my sweet "push present" today- a beautiful heart bracelet from Tiffany's that has a heart locket with Colin's monogram on it. So sweet.

Colin Bennett-
Mommy and Daddy have had such a fun few weeks with you. We love spending time with you and watching you learn new things. Keep growing big and strong and showing us your little personality! We can't believe you will be one month old in a few short days.
We love you to the moon and back little beebs.
Love,
Mama and Daddy
